Completely private. When you book, the boat is yours. No one else gets added. Your group of up to 8 people has the guide, the boat, and the lake to yourselves.
Very little — we provide rods, reels, tackle, bait, and bottled water. Bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and any snacks or non-alcoholic drinks you want. A Connecticut fishing license is required for anglers 16+ (buy online in 5 minutes from CT DEEP).
Absolutely — it's one of our most popular family activities. The 3-hour format is ideal for kids. Our guide is patient and loves helping young anglers land their first bass. We get families from Westchester almost every weekend during the season.
We practice catch-and-release by default to keep the fishery healthy, but if you'd like to keep a legal catch for dinner, just let your guide know. All Connecticut state regulations apply.
