Ian

Founder & Head Captain

Ian started CT Water Sports in 2019 out of his college apartment at Arizona State and turned it into Connecticut's only watersports school. He still spends most of the season behind the wheel — and he's coached thousands of first-time skiers, wakeboarders, and wakesurfers onto their feet.

Aidan

Instructor & Driver

Aidan is the name that keeps showing up in our Google reviews. He coaches kids' clinics and all-level charter groups, and he's especially good at getting nervous first-timers up on the water. Patient, encouraging, and usually the first one to demo the trick.

What Your Day Looks Like

No paperwork, no boating license, no guesswork. Here's exactly how a charter with us runs — from the booking confirmation to the ride back to the dock.

1
Before you arrive

Book your date — we send the details

Pick your charter and time online, or call us and we'll help you choose. Your confirmation includes the meeting point, what to bring, and who to ask for. Watersports charters: swimsuit, towel, sunscreen. Pontoon cruises: bring a cooler — the boat has a table and we provide bottled water.

2
At the dock

Meet at West Cove Marina

143 West St in New Milford, with free parking on site. Your captain meets you at the dock, gets the boat ready, and settles everyone in. No license, no experience, and no equipment needed — all of it is on board.

3
Before we launch

Gear up & safety brief

We fit a life jacket to every guest, walk through the boat, and cover the hand signals you'll use on the water. Nervous first-timers get a little extra coaching and a clear plan before we ever hit the throttle.

4
On the water

Your charter, your call

Your captain reads the group and builds the session around you. Ski, wakeboard, wakesurf, kneeboard, or tube — or all of the above. Riders rotate, beginners get real instruction, and the boat is yours for the full booking.

5
Back at the dock

Dry off, grab a photo, plan the next one

We'll help you unload, answer questions, and get you booked for next time. Tag @connwatersports on Instagram — your day might end up on our feed.

Good to know: bottled water is provided, well-behaved dogs are welcome, and life jackets are sized for kids and adults. Alcohol and smoking aren't permitted on watersports charters; BYOB is welcome on pontoon cruises after water activities wrap up.
